One thing that sets this job appart from the rest is the it was mainly focused on creating deeper connections. This led to not only working as a visual designer but also as an experience designer. Creating, organizing and facilitating journeys around the world.
This was complemented by various workshops involving empathic communication, team building, storytelling, mindfulness and creating safe spaces for emotional support.

  • Storytelling

    The best stories happen to those who tell them best. We tought the foundations needed to tell a memorable story, making sure that what you experienced during our trips became knowledge and impact once you returned.

  • Nonviolent Communication

    Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a language that facilitates the connection with others and ourselves. It helps us express our emotions in an assertive way, and to offer empathy to the people we most care for.

  • Mindfulness

    The spaces of contemplation and presence are key to digesting the impact that a trip can have on us. We practiced this awareness throughout our travels.

  • History and context

    We worked on adding relevant context at a historical, geographic, and political level about the countries we visit, with the purpose of deepening our connection with them.

  • Environmental awareness

    All of our journeys were designed with environmental consciousness in mind. Not only did we encourage good practices regarding transport, food and cultural support, but we also offset the carbon footprint of ourselves and all our clients,

  • Art

    Each journey was professionally documented trough image and writing, creating a heritage of stories of each and every one of our trips and travelers. We did this in the form of books and videos.

    Throughout my time in Wondermore we created various visual elements in the form of books, flyers, videos, social media content, a website, corporate presentations and even popup stands.These were all focused on invoking a sense of adventure and connection through the power of storytelling.

    Before 2020 ended we launched a cinematographic production that's connects 5 different ecosystems to 5 different human emotion as a way to reflect the situation during the pandemic. This production was called "A look inside". This was meant to consciously reactivate our local tourism showcasing its potential through "renewed eyes" while also encouraging others to take a look inside and connect with new possibilities during these new and challenging times

    For the website we thought it important to reflect the same principles we used during our journeys as a way of communicating what we do and what we offer.

    This meant telling a story and giving a freedom of exploration throughout the site. The visual elements of the site in combination with various stories and photographic documentation led to a fully immersive yet functional website capable of indulging the more curious while being fast and functional for those wanting a faster response.

    While it became impossible to travel during the first months of the Covid outbreak, we decided to launch our own podcast as an attempt to connect with our community and keep that sense of adventure alive and growing.

    For this we designed not just the cover but also a new visual line that would accompany and strengthen the feel of each episode.
